Important Information
Abamune does not prevent HIV from infecting your body. Never take Abamune with any other drug that also contains Abacavir Sulphate. The drug may lead to Lactic acidiosis in people who are overweight or suffering from a liver disease. In case you experience Lactiv acidiosis, seek immediate medical help. Lactic acidiosis can lead to muscle pain, weakness, breathing problems, numbness, cold sensation within the limbs, stomach pain, nausea as well as vomiting. This can be a life-threatening condition, thus, make sure you get medical attention immediately. This drug can also damage the liver. People with liver disease may experience severe pain in upper stomach that radiates to the back, nausea and vomiting. Other symptoms include fast heartbeats, loss of appetite, severe itching, dark urine, clay colored stools, as well as jaundice.
