The kilo-lab facility is basically designed to reduce the gap in capacity between laboratory and pilot plant and manufactured in smaller volume high-value added products. This facility is designed to cater to the pre-clinical requirements and needs of the pharmaceutical industry. The unit is constructed separately from the laboratory but close enough to the pilot plant to access all of pilot plant facilities, such as scrubbers and abatement and vacuum. The facility is operated in accordance with iso standards. The main objective is to provide early phase trial materials in minimum lead times with more flexibility at affordable prices compared to other fully gmp units.
