Monadnock manufactures A through E weight abrasive backing papers for the production of wet and dry flexible coated abrasives. These papers are polymer-reinforced to enhance drape and “hand” as well as increase durability, tear resistance, holdout and grit adhesion.
Smooth, level surfaces allow for the uniform deposit of ultra-fine grits. Both natural and synthetic fibers may be used in manufacturing to achieve optimum performance in use.
Barrier or “Tie” and Anti-slip surface coatings are available. These products can be customized to meet your exacting requirements.
Eco Attributes
Manufactured with the environment in mind, our abrasive backing papers are manufactured carbon neutral (VERs) using 100 percent renewable Green-e certified wind powered electricity (RECs) under a third-party certified ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Monadnock technicalspecialty papers may be manufactured to meet Forest Stewardship Council chain-of-custody standards upon request.
