Brown fused alumina(bfa),also called brown aluminum oxide or brown corundum, is an artificial electro fused corundum obtained from reduced fusion of high quality bauxite together with other raw materials in 2000℃ electric arc furnaces. The lump sizes are crushed into finer grades or powders and refined by sieving equipment into materials of different particle distribution for different applications.
