Specifications Of AC Geared Motors :

Housing :

(Stator Frame) Cast Iron body with cooling ribs

Rotor :

Core of Insulated lamination with a high pressure die-cast Aluminum cage.
To ensure quiet and vibration free functioning, the whole rotor assembly is dynamically balanced.
Surface is protected by anti-corrosive coating.

Shaft :

Made from high carbon steel i.e. EN-8

Terminal Box :

Located at right hand side of the drive end side
Sealed against ingress of moisture
Provided with conduit entry
Earthing terminal is fitted at the box-side

The extended life of AC Geared Motors is ensured with the high air flow exterior Bi-directional polypropylene fans that result in low temperature rise. The Fan cowls have apt gauge pressed steel construction and are firmly bolted to end shield of the motor-body.
