Accumulators

Uses pressurized nitrogen to maintain adequate pressure in the hydraulic system. Often useful for maintaining reserve system pressure levels during short-term system shutdowns. Accumulator designs in volumes from 10 to 400 cubic inches. PDI’s designs meet the latest Part 25 requirements for 4 times operating for burst pressure. Can be provided with charging valve and pressure gauge. Some designs utilize a PDI proprietary equalization device which further minimizes pneumatic pressure losses over the life of the aircraft.
