Acidity is the presence of excess acid in stomach that causes exasperation (irritation) of elementary canal resulting into throat dryness, blazing heart burn, stomach pain, chest pain, constant pain in abdomen, prolonged heart burn, etc. Acidity is the outcome of irregular behavior and habits contradictory to natural body phenomenon. Acidity, called heat in the body, produced due to different biological & metaphysical activities going on in the body e.g. digestion, detoxification, blood purification, kidney filtration etc. This leads to change in pH level of blood. Ideal pH of blood is 7.4 (7.35 to 7.45)
