Acrylated Alkyd Resin

Neo's family of acrylated alkyd are specially designed medium oil resins based on Oxidising mixed fatty acid. They are pale yellow viscous liquid. They are completely soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, higher alcohol, glycol ethers, insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and water. They are compatible with short oil alkyds, acrylated alkyds, amino resins and are incompatible with medium and long oil alkyd resins. They find extensive application in Varnishes for metal decoration and for manufacture of fast drying enamel coatings. These resins impart excellent water, petrol, oil resistance properties to finished products.
