Activated Alumina

Zettachem supplies two types of activated alumina ALOX Type-F and ALOX Type-U.
ALOX Type-F activated alumina is used in the drying of gases such as AIR, CO2, SF6, NH3, CO, H2S, Cl2, or liquids such as gasoline, chlorinated, fluorinated or aromatic hydrocarbons where high thermal and mechanical resistance is required.
ALOX Type-U activated alumina is used in the same drying process but utilised where the adsorbent should be splash-proof. This product is especially recommended for the use in air dryer units, where low dust development is required. Under certain conditions a dew point of -80°C can be achieved
