Africa hullers are specifically designed to treat dry cherry. The machine consists of a cylinder fitted with feeding and hulling ribs, enclosed in a strong casing, the lower portion of which is perferated to allow the husks to pass into the husk chamber. The hulling is effected by means of the triturating action between the hulling blade and the ribs on the cylinder.
