Labbazaar Mild Steel Aggregate Crushing Value Apparatus 150mm

Purpose:
Used for measuring the resistance of an aggregate to crushing under gradually applied compressive load, as per IS: 2386 (Part IV) – 1963.

1. Cylinder (Test Mould):

   • Diameter: 150 mm ± 0.5 mm

   • Height: 130 mm ± 0.5 mm

   • Material: Heavy-duty mild steel

   • Machined internally for smooth finish

2. Plunger:

   • Diameter: 150 mm ± 0.5 mm

   • Height: 100 mm ± 0.5 mm

   • Made from solid mild steel

   • Slides freely inside the cylinder

3. Base Plate:

   • Rigid, flat base with support for test cylinder

   • Made of steel or cast iron

   • Machined flat for stability

4. Tamping Rod:

   • Diameter: 16 mm

   • Length: 450 mm

   • Material: Mild steel with rounded ends

5. Metal Measure:

   • Diameter: 115 mm

   • Height: 180 mm

   • For accurate sample measurement

6. Compression Testing Machine (Optional):

   • Capacity: 1000 kN or more

   • Required for applying load during the test
