  1. 2 Post type.
  2. Tilting type.
  3. Tilting type - Double Stack Insulator.
  4. Rotating type.
  5. Rotating type - Double Stack Insulator.
  6. Single Phase Switch.
  7. Change Over Switch.
  8. Disconnecting Switch.
Capacity
  1. System Voltage - 11KV & 33KV.
  2. Current Rating - Upto 1200 Amp.
  3. System Frequency - 50Hz etc
Uses/Application

Air Break Switch is used to connect / disconnect the power system of a certain part of overhead cable and Transformer from the main power line.
Generally 11KV Air Break Switch & 22KV Air Break Switch for Power Distribution line and 33KV Air Break Switch for Power Generation & Power Transmission Line.

 

The 11KV & 33KV AB Switches are required with post insulators. The AB switches should be suitable for mounting on the structure. The mounting structure will be arranged by the bidder. However, the AB Switches shall be supplied with base channel for mounting on the structure which will be provided by the owner. The phase to phase spacing shall be 750mm in case of 11KV AB Switches & 1200mm in case of 33KV AB Switches.
