Lug Type Air Shafts
Lug type air shaft is all purpose air shaft. It is available to hold core sizes from 2″Ø to 12″Ø.

Leaf Type Air Shafts
Leaf type air shaft, unlike lug type is used for winding side. When it expands its exerts force on internal diameter of core all over 360°. This way it prevents deformation of thin core and hold it positively. It may also be used for coreless winding purpose.
