in hvac lines wherever air needs to be removed automatically without wasting chilled water into the drain.

other applications wherever water (liquid) is present in a pressurized system and air needs to be removed without wasting hot / cold water.

in hot water (solar) systems.

salient features

	the varie av21 uses a low - density solid plastic float (and not hollow) thus eliminating failure of float. Other conventional air vent valves use a hollow metallic ball float which develops pin holes or leakages from the welding joint and becomes heavy (due to water that enters the float). The valve thus remains in open position permanently.
	simple design with minimal parts makes it virtually maintenance free.
	has built-in filter which prevents ingress of dirt & foreign particles, which are the main culprits for choking with malfunction.
	light weight.
	transparent chamber in av21-t shows visual indication of water level to determine if valve is malfunctioning.
	av21-t (transparent) comes with a protecting sun cap to avoid moss / algae formation inside due to sunlight.
