Air Washer Unit

Air cooling is a commonly accepted practice for comfort condition in auditorium and common public spaces. The principle is very simple, that when a fine spray of water is given into a stream of dry air, evaporation takes place rapidly and the air gets cooled to the wet blub temperature. If the air is dry the effect of evaporation and consequent cooling will be remarkable. The principle is used not only for comfort cooling but also to enhance humidity in the air to meet specific requirements of process industries like spinning and wearing mills.

Air washer has to have an enclosure either made of masonry or in steel / or other metals. In the air washer housing as spray system comprising of steel pipes and spray nozzles are equipped. Water circulation pumps will circulate the water. A water drop eliminators will arrest the water droplets. The air intake can be provided with fillers. Depending upon the application our engineers can tailor a system to suit the customer’s requirement.
