We offer albroxim (cefpodoxime proxetil tablets 100 200 mg).
albroxim contains the generic medicine cefpodoxime which is an anti-infective agent active against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. It is available in 100 200 mg doses. Cefpodoxime proxetil is used in the treatment of various bacterial infections such as acute otitis media, pharyngitis and sinusitis. It belongs to the third generation cephalosporin group of antibiotics.
albroxim exhibits bactericidal activity by inhibiting the cellwall synthesis. Common side effects include diarrhea, nauseavomiting, or headache and these may be treated with therapeutical doses.
albroxim is a well tolerated formulation which provide good bacteriological and clinical efficacy in both adults and paediatric patients. It is an effective alternative to beta-lactam therapies in the treatment of respiratory, urinary tracts infections, skin and soft tissues.

the dosages and durations of therapy vary according to the type of infections.
•pharyngitis andor tonsillitis: 100 mg of cefpodoxime proxetil to be taken twice a day for 5-10 days.
•acute community-acquired pneumonia: 200 mg of cefpodoxime proxetil to be taken twice a day for 14 days.
•skin and skin structure: 400 mg of cefpodoxime proxetil to be taken twice a day for 7-14 days.
