Alfalfa is known as the 'queen of forage'; it is one of the highest yielding fodder crops,
USDA describes premium quality alfalfa as “early maturity, pre-bloom, extra leafy and fine stemmed. Factors indicative of high nutritive content. Hay is green and free of damage.”
Our alfalfa, branded is sun-dried to ensure that it is fresh tasting and mold free.
Adheres to the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) specifications for alfalfa. We mainly supply ‘premium’ grade alfalfa (specification below), although other grades may be available on request.
