It is also known as Lace Aloe, Torch Plant, Bearded Aloe, Hardy Aloe, is a small hardy evergreen perennial succulent plant popularly grown as an indoor plant. It is often confused with Haworthia species.

Aloe Aristata is a stemless, clump-forming succulent with dense beautiful rosettes of fleshy, lance-shaped, toothed, white-margined, dark green leaves. The leaves also show small white spots with white spines, particularly beneath to protect itself from being grazed by animals. Aloe aristata also produces small tubular shaped flowers which are dull-red or pinkish in color.

Propagation– Mature plants produce many offsets that can be taken from the base of the mother plant early in summer and can be grown as another plant.

Soil – Sandy Well drained gritty soils are suitable for the Aloe aristata to remain healthy.

Light –  Partial shade –full sun. Keep them near a window where they can receive bright light.

Water – Water moderately once a week or when the top one inch of the soil is dry.

Temperature – they grow well at room temperatures.

Humidity – Maintain proper humidity during its growth period in summers.
