SAGAR TUBES Aluminium Alloys

We are offering aluminium alloys,
a precipitation hardening 6061 aluminum alloy, using magnesium and silicon as its major alloying elements, 6061 aluminum has good mechanical properties and has good weldability. It is the most common aluminum alloy for general purpose.

applications: aircraft structures, marine use, but its major use is in cans for food and beverage.

aging: artificial aging is most commonly used for this alloy. T-6 tempering is widely used for most applications, t-4 and also t-651 are used also.
