Aluminum Detonator Cup

This 1100 aluminum detonator cup is used within Automotive Airbag applications as well as Military applications
Using our advanced deep drawn stamping technology, Waterbury Contract Eyelets & Stampings, Inc. constructed a series of 1100 aluminum detonator cups. These 1100 aluminum detonator cups are used within automotive airbag applications, as well as in other military applications. Employing a 2 out progressive die placed in a 22 ton minster OBI press; we were able to machine the part complete in just one operation, using only one piece of equipment, while still upholding a tight (±) .0005 inch precision tolerance.
