Contact SupplierACP sheet fabrication is the process of transforming raw aluminium composite panels into customized components for cladding, signage, and interiors. This precision work begins with cutting, where large panels are sized using computer-controlled routers or saws for absolute accuracy. The core of fabrication involves forming the panels. For sharp, clean corners, a V-groove is cut into the back layer of the aluminium, allowing the panel to be folded neatly without damaging the surface. More complex, three-dimensional shapes are achieved through bending on specialized brake presses. Further operations include drilling holes for fixtures and milling to create recesses for a seamless finish. For intricate designs or ventilation grilles, panels undergo routing or profiling to cut completely through the material. Throughout the process, the protective film remains on the surface to prevent scratches. Fabrication may also include applying a structural adhesive to the panel's back to create a "stick system" for installation or preparing it for mechanical fixing with rivets. This meticulous, workshop-based process is essential for creating the precise, high-quality elements that define modern architectural aesthetics, ensuring panels fit perfectly and perform reliably on the building envelope.
