Waterless Lapping Lubricant
AmberLube™ 85R9 is a ready-to-use, waterless diamond lapping lubricant. It is specifically formulated for the fixed abrasive lapping of computer disk readwrite heads. The AmberLube 85R9 formula provides the unique ability to controle pole tip, alumina and RTS (reader to shield) recession or protusion. It also prevents ESD by quickly and effectively dissipating static charge buildup. AmberLube 85R9 imparts excellent surface finishes, improved removal rates and enhanced plate life. It does not contain water and is safe for use on GMR and advanced head designs. AmberLube 85R9 is easily cleaned with conventional polar solvents or water based cleaners.
