Biodegradable Aqueous Lubricant
AmberLube™ EC is a water-based lubricant which does not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or ozone depleting substances (ODSs). This formula may be applied in the tube bending, swaging, stretch forming and skin forming of ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, titanium and stainless steel. It also contains special anti-corrosive agents to protect form tools, dies, mandrels and bending tools from harmful oxidation. AmberLube ECs anti-wear lubricants reduce scratching, galling, and metal-to-metal contact.
Non-aggressive toward aluminum, ferrous and other space age metals
Does not contain oil, nitrites, sulfur, chlorine, phenols, DEA, glycol ethers, or any other hazardous solvents
Pleasant smelling and does not require ventilation
Biodegradable and poses no environmental or health risks
Will not degrade cleaning solutions as readily as traditional oil or solvent lubricants
Water-based formulation rinses easily
