Automatic mains failure module has been very specially designed for telecom infra for the control of dg and eb mains. it integrates the functions of engine startstop including the protection for the dg set and also mains supply monitoring. The system has facility to interpret alarm indication’s, cycle time operation and eb restore memory.
an advanced single chip microcontroller has been used for easy gen-set control in the case of mains failures. Amf 2009 initiates an automatic gen-set start cycle including load transfer to the generator by switching the generator contactors. After the main is restored the load will be automatically transferred back to mains and the gen-set will stop after a cooling time.
