Catalyzed ABS is used where the result is expected very fast compare to normal Ammonium bisulphite. The USB of this product is that as it has a metal catalyst in it, the reaction time is very less and thus the O2 scavenging time is also less. This saves a lot of process time to remove O2 from the system. Generally, to reduce 1 ppm of dissolved oxygen in water with retention of 5 mints the ABS used will be 9.5ppm Max but due to its catalyzed property it will take less time.
Ammonium Bisulphateis also known(synonyms) nickel catalyzed ammonium bisulphite, cobalt catalyzed ammonium bisulphite, Catalyzed ammonium bisulphite, Stabilized ammonium bisulphate, Oxygen Scavenger, Corrosion Inhibitor, winterized Ammonium Bisulphite. Ammonium hydrogen sulphite, ABS catalyzed.
With a wide application, it is used in oil and gas industry, in upstream oil industry as an oxygen scavenger and corrosion inhibitor.Ammonium bisulphite solution is also used in water treatment industry,specialty chemical, Photographic industry, X-ray fixture and developer industry,mining industry, sugar refining industry,pharmaceutical industry, Laboratory chemicals.
All the parameters are tested in our in-house Laboratory using process issued by Bureau of Indian standard (BIS). The instrument used in testing process are calibrated by NABL acerbated lab.
The self-life of the material is 1 year. Do not tamper the seal (packing). Once open use the material as soon as possible. Store in well ventilated area under the shade away from direct sunlight, heat or flames. Preferable in a shed where there is no weather effect.
