Amoxycillin 250mg is a broad-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic belonging to the penicillin group. It is commonly prescribed to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:

• Respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Ear, nose, and throat infections (e.g., otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Dental abscesses

• Gonorrhea and certain gastric ulcers caused by H. pylori (in combination therapy)
