Ampoule Inspection Machine

The automatic ampoule visual inspection machine is widely used in the chemicals and pharmaceutical industry for the inspection of filled ampoules and vials. The ampoule inspection machine is equipped with AC drives rejection unit which rejects the incorrectly filled ampoules to a rejection station. The visual ampoule inspection machine is given a stainless steel matt finish. The ampoule checking machine is has a double background for checking the black and white particles separately.

Process of Operating The ampoules filled with liquid are fed to the feed chute. An index wheel transfers them to the inspection section via a linear transfer rack. The ampoules are spinned at a predefined rate, where an operator views them through a magnifying glass in an illuminated light. The operator rejects the incorrectly filled ampoules by pressing a rejection switch. A numbered light located above the magnifying lens lights up which indicates that the ampoule is rejected. The whole batch is sent to the rejection section where the rejected ampoules are ejected out of the batch. The remaining ampoules are sent to a collection unit where a tray is used to collect the accepted ampoules.
