INTRODUCTION 

The anesthesia machines developed by Ramedico are of the highest quality. One of these is the D-AN 1015. This model comes with two rotameters; one both for oxygen and nitrous oxide. These rotameters control the flow of oxygen and nitrous oxide to the desired level. The oxygen flowmeter has been regulated to perform at a range of 100cc/min to 10Lt/min. This gives the advantage to squeeze more oxygen into the patient when and however desired. The Nitrous oxide in this machine can be limited form 200cc/min to 12Lt/min.

The machine also comes with change over system that can switch the equipment form open to closed circuit.  The Goldman type halothane vaporizer lows to vaporize the desired anesthetic agent in a standard proportion. The machine also has the ability to fit a ventilator which can be used to provide oxygen to the patient whenever more the patient is unable to breathe normally.

D-AN 1015 also has the standard safety measures. It cuts off the supply of NO2 whenever there is an interruption in the supply of oxygen. Also if the oxygen supply falls below the normal, an alarm is triggered off to maintain safety of the patient.
