ANCHOR ABRASIVES CENTERLESS WHEELS

Anchor centerless grinding wheels are custom formulated for demanding thru-feed and plunge grinding applications. Anchor centerless wheels can be made from 12” to 30” in diameter and widths up to 20”. Anchor’s resin bonds have much more resiliency compared to a standard off the shelf vitrified bond. This added flexibility results in a better surface finish even when roughing, which could eliminate a finish grinding pass. Anchor resin bonds grind with much less “chatter” compared to vitrified bonds. This is especially important when grinding long bars or tubes.
Anchor centerless wheels can be found thru-feed and plunge grinding parts in a wide variety of sizes and materials. Many customers have found that difficult to grind materials such as hardened steel, stainless or titanium are much easier to grind with Anchor resin wheels.
