Chemical Constituent

The main active ingredients of this plant are andrographolides. The leaves also contain other diterpene lactones, such as: neoandrographolide, andrographiside, 14-doexy-11, 12-didehydro andrographolide, etc., flavonoinds viz., oroxylin, wogonin, andrographidines A, B, C, D, E, F. Various methoxyflavones.3,4-Dicaffeoylquinic acid,Onysilin,β-sitosterol, stigmasterol, and ergosterol peroxide.
