Anti Embolism Stocking that we offer is the preventive treatment of pre-operative and post-operative embolism. These stockings are particularly suitable for patients subjected to post-traumatic treatments and in case of hydrostatic oedemas, contusions and sprains. The compression value of the Anti Embolism Stocking is mm Hg 18-24 at ankle level, which progressively decreases towards the calf and thigh and restores compression lacking to the venous system (Venous pump). These stockings help to re-establish blood circulation rate to normal level in the femoral veins. Our stockings are available in knee & thigh length as well as in sizes small, medium, large & X large. Each model has a different colored top, which allows easier identification of the model suitable for the various requirements. Our Anti Embolism Stockings are made using polyamide 75 % and elastam 25 %.

How To Choose The Ideal Type Of Stocking
You are advised to measure the girth of the patient's leg at ankle and calf. Then compare the measurements obtained with those in the 'size' table. Choosing the stocking size indicated. Whenever there is the need for a stocking with greater compression (with respect to the indicated value), choose a smaller size stocking. Being smaller it will exert greater containment, increasing compression on the leg. When a stocking with less compression is required, adopt the reverse procedure.
