Pharmacokinetics
a modified simple, selective, rapid, precise reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography method has been developed and validated for the simultaneous estimation of ofloxacin and ornidazole. This combination is used as various g.i tract infections worldwide. The retention time of ofloxacin and ornidazole was 2.84 min and 4.39 min respectively.
Therapeutic indications & usage
oflospar -oz is primarily indicated in conditions like mixed diarrhea postoperative infections, lower respiratory tract, lung abscessemphysema, bronchiectasis, upper respiratory tract, chronic sinusitis, purulent sinusitis, peritonsillar abscess, appendicitis, all abscesses, biliary infections, osteomyelitis, wound infections, postoperative, infected decubitus ulcer, immunocompromised patients, infections in cancer patients, gynecological infections, dental infections, diabetic foot infections.
Precautions & warnings
ofloxacin & ornidazole must be used with caution in those with known or suspected central nervous system.
