Apron FeederTop

The Apron Feeder operates on principle of gravity discharge. Aprons consist of endless pivoted steel humped plates, attached to side bar chains and runs on rollers on both sides. Drive is through shaft mounted geared motor with either constant or variable speed.

Feeder is totally enclosed and provided with connection for dust extraction.

Application

Used to extract bulk solids from bins, convey over short distance and feed to downstream process. It can be used on bulk solids with a particle size of up to 100 mm and temperatures of up to 800 Degree C.

The range includes Single Speed Endless, Single Speed Single Drum, Two Speed Endless and Two Speed Single Drum Haulages for both materials and man-riding applications.

All units are incorporated with matching safety mechanisms and comply with Statutory Regulations for transportation of men and materials.

Horse-power range between 20 HP to 75 HP. They are designed to suit the standard rope sizes either round or flattened strand wire ropes, with adequate rope factors of safety for material hauling and man-riding.

Standard safety interlocks and brake equipment include, proving switches for "Brake OFF", "Brake Wear", and "Brake ON", Emergency Stop switch, Foot Lever Brake switch, "Scoop in" /Scoop out" switch and Dead Man switch.
