Contact SupplierASME SA 387 Grade 12 Class 1 and Class 2 Plates are 1% Chromium – 0.5% Molybdenum alloy steel plates designed for high-temperature and pressure service. These plates are primarily used in boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, oil & gas processing units, and chemical plants due to their outstanding thermal resistance, mechanical strength, and oxidation resistance.
The Class 2 variant offers a higher tensile strength compared to Class 1, while maintaining the same corrosion and creep-resistant properties.
Key FeaturesExcellent strength and stability at elevated temperatures
High resistance to thermal fatigue and oxidation
Good weldability and formability
Supplied in normalized and tempered condition
Ideal for boiler and pressure vessel applications
