Contact SupplierProduct Overview
ASME SA 387 Grade 91 Class 1 / Class 2 Plates are advanced 9Cr-1Mo-V (chromium-molybdenum-vanadium) alloy steel plates, engineered for elevated temperature and high-pressure applications. These plates are widely used in thermal power plants, nuclear plants, heat recovery steam generators, pressure vessels, and boilers.
Grade 91 is known for its exceptional creep strength, thermal stability, and oxidation resistance, even at temperatures exceeding 600°C. Class 2 offers higher mechanical strength than Class 1, suitable for highly demanding service conditions.
Key FeaturesExceptional creep and stress rupture resistance
Outstanding oxidation and corrosion resistance at high temperatures
High mechanical strength and thermal stability
Improved microstructure with tempered martensitic properties
Supplied in normalized, tempered, and tempered-martensitic condition
