Atrescin 560mg Tablets

Atrescin is the combination of two components as Artemether & Lumafentrine which is an anti-malarial medicine.  Malaria is an infection caused by mosquito bites by female mosquito. Such infection enters into the body and parasites lives in body tissue such as liver or blood cells. The combination has good gametocidal properties which destroys gametocytes. Atrescin is used for treatment of acute uncomplicated malaria infections due to Plasmodium falciparum. Atrescin works to harm the parasite and fight the infection which do complete care and avoid relapse. It is use in adults and children at least 2 months old or who have weight at least 11 pounds (5 kilograms). This medication is used only to treat malaria & not to use to prevent malaria. 

Usage : Atrescin is combination of two medicine Artemether & Lumafentrine which is anti-malarial class of medicine. It is use to treat uncomplicated malarial infection caused by mosquito bites. Atrescin kill parasites which lives in soft tissues like blood cells and liver. It is only treat to cure malarial infection and not for the prevention of malaria. Dosage is vary from patient and severity of medical condition. Usually it is to be taken twice a day for 3 days or as directed by the doctor. Always take this medicine with food.

What happened if I forget to take dose?

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember but do not take it if next dose schedule at nearby time. Let the dose skip and continue with regular schedule.

Dose is safe to take this medicine during pregnancy?

It is not safe to take upto first three months as it may cause fetal loss.
