The control module starts an acoustic alarm immediately after the operation of an isolating device. The alarm takes the form of a high-frequency warning tone which can be heard at a considerable distance. In addition, a red LED flashes on the monitoring module. The warning tone can be silenced for the next 24hours by operating a black switch. When the faulty device has been replaced, a green LED indicates that the arrester block is working properly.
