Step 1: Load your slide into the Livo AutoSmearer andplace a drop of blood on it. The slide is ready for smearing.

Step 2: Push the button. The device automatically smearsthe blood at the right angle and gets the slide ready for staining in 2 seconds, compared with the standard 2-3 minutes it takes a lab technician to do it.

Eliminates Variability

Unlike manually produced smears, whose contours and thickness naturally vary from slide to slide, the Livo AutoSmearer generates identical smears of perfect proportions. The device can be programmed to realize smears of given proportions as well as the desired thinness/thickness, which effectively eliminates the risk of any problems associated with variability in the smears.
