Contact SupplierA Coil Winding Machine is a specialized electromechanical device used to wind coils of wire onto a core, bobbin, or other structured forms. It is commonly used in the manufacturing of transformers, electric motors, inductors, relays, solenoids, and submersible motors.
Purpose
To precisely and consistently wind copper (or aluminum) wire into a pre-defined shape and number of turns, maintaining accuracy in tension, layering, and direction.
Key Components
Machine Structure
Mild Steel (MS) frame
Dimensions: Approx. 1200 mm (L) x 800 mm (W) x 1200 mm (H)
Ergonomically designed for seated or standing operation
Drive Motor
Siemens Brake Motor – 2 HP, 4 Pole, IE2 Efficiency
Ensures controlled rotation and braking during operation
Gearbox
Bonfiglioli Worm Reduction Gearbox
Low output RPM (20–25), high torque for steady winding
Counter Meter
AUTORICH SR5/RL/DB/1:1
Accurately tracks the number of coil turns
Winding Shaft (Farma Shaft)
500 mm length with 100 mm threaded portion
Holds and rotates the bobbin/core for winding
Foot Pedal
Heavy-duty foot switch (15A, SPDT)
Provides hands-free speed control
Direction Control Switch
Forward/Reverse toggle to change winding direction as required
DOL Starter
Siemens Direct-On-Line Starter for motor protection and control
Submersible Winding Farma
Custom fixture for holding motor windings securely during operation
The operator loads a bobbin or core onto the shaft.
The machine is powered ON using the DOL starter.
Direction is selected using the F/R switch.
The wire is manually guided (or via traverse unit if semi/fully automatic).
The foot pedal controls the motor speed for optimal winding.
The counter tracks the exact number of turns.
Once winding is complete, the machine is stopped and the coil is removed.
Submersible motor coils
Transformer LV & HV coils
Stator and rotor windings
Chokes and solenoids
Precision in winding pitch and turn count
High repeatability and consistency
Compact and ergonomic design
Easy to operate and maintain
