• The FRP molded hood is totally corrosion and erosion free under all severe working conditions. So the life span is endless and we expect the materials to serve 20 years and above. 
• The Hood is a very good non-conductor of heat and electricity. The rubber belt is protected well under summer heat when the conveyor is not in use. The rubber materials are prone to temperature fluctuation cycles and our hood minimizes the same. 
• The hood effectively covers the rainwater from entering inside and protects the coal from wetting. The molded doors and hood are designed and matched with raised walls to have the protection more than 95%. Whereas the efficiency of metal covers are around 60-70% only and wetting of coal by rain water is inevitable resulting in lot of heat energy required in the process to remove the water content. 
• The hood is self-pigmented with colors of your choice. No need to paint or no need to give any protective coatings throughout the lifetime of the hoods.
