Avomine Tablets

Avomine 25mg tablet is used in the treatment of allergic disorders .

COMPOSITION FOR AVOMINE 25MG TABLET : Promethazine(25mg)
FOOD INTERACTION FOR AVOMINE TABLET : It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Avomine 25mg tablet at a fixed time.

How avomine tablet works :  Avomine 25mg tablet blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, congestion, itching, and other allergic reactions.
Common side effects of avomine tablet :

• Nightmare,
• Pale red skin,
• Itchy rash,
• Rash,
• Abdominal cramp,
• Abnormal liver function tests,
• Altered heart rate,
• Blurred vision,
• Confusion,
• Decreased blood pressure,
• Diarrhoea,
• Disorientation (alteration of mental status),
• Dizziness,
• Drowsiness,
• Dry mouth,
• Gastric irritation,
• Headache,
• Hypersensitivity reaction,
• Inability to empty the urinary bladder,
• Itching,
• Loss of appetite,
• Muscle cramp,
• Nausea,
• Restlessness,
• Vomiting,
• Fatigue

ALCOHOL INTERACTION FOR AVOMINE TABLET : Avomine 25mg tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
PREGNANCY INTERACTION FOR AVOMINE TABLET :  Avomine 25mg tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
LACTATION INTERACTION FOR AVOMINE TABLET : Unknown. Human and animal studies are not available. Please consult your doctor.
