Ayuroma Centre Clary Sage Oil, Color : Pale Yellow Liquid

S. sclarea reaches 3 to 4 feet in height, with a width of 1 foot. The leaves are approximately 1 ft long at the base. The upper leaf surface is rugose, and covered with glandular hairs. The flowers are lilac or pale blue, pink or white, in whorls on top of the stems, with the upper lip curled up. The leaves are broad oval or heart-shaped, in pairs, 6-9 inches long, covered with fine silver-white hairs, almost stalkless. The cultivar S. sclarea 'Turkestanica' bears pink stems, petiolate leaves, and white, pink-flecked blossoms on spikes to 30 inches tall (75 cm).It is a native to southern Europe and is a stout biennial herb. It is cultivated for oil production in France and Russia.In Jamaica; it was used amongst the local people for cleaning and cooling ulcers and for inflammation of the eyes.
