Azithromycin Injection

It is primarily used for the treatment of ear, throat, lung infections, enteric and genitourinary infections, and STIs.
Azithromycin has bacteriostatic activity against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Including but not limited to Bordetella pertussis and Legionella species, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Treponema pallidum, Chlamydia species and Mycobacterium avium complex.
Azithromycin Injections are more effective and can also be administered on patients who can't tolerate oral medications.
It is perticularly effective due to its pharmacokinetic properties for treatment of sexually transmitted infections, often requiring only a single dose.
