Baby and Kid Dino Slippers / Moccasins

These high quality and durable soft-soled shoes moccasins are made with leather and hand dyed canvas. We choose colours that are as unique and vibrant as the children we make them for. All the leather is hand selected for quality and softness. Our shoes are handcrafted with love in our home studio in Chemainus, BC Canada.
This pattern is designed to stay put on your busy baby and toddlers feet. We line our moccs with 100% cotton canvas to help absorb moisture. We use professional elastic to ensure the shoes are secure but not too tight.
The leather spikes add wonderful contrast to the bright canvas. Leather soles make these shoes suitable for indoor or outdoor play! Great for preschools and Waldorf school footwear needs.
We use fibre-reactive dyes which are considered a low-impact dye and eco-friendly. Low impact dyes do not contain toxic chemicals or mordants (which fix the dye to the fabric), require less rinsing and have a high absorption rate in the fabric (~70%). High absorption rates and a decreased use of rinse water create less waste water.
Due to the nature of being handmade, hand dyed and using new andor up-cycled leather the colour and texture may vary slightly from what is pictured. Please let us know if you have any leather colour preferences and we will gladly do our best to accommodate.
