Bacterial Freezing Kit

Bacterial Freezing Kit allows for a simple and convenient method for preserving bacteria directly from culture. Each vial, or Bacterial Freezing Tube, contains sterile 3 mm glass beads and 225 µl 30% glycerol. Simply add 225 µl of culture broth with actively growing cells, mix, label and freeze. The Bacterial Freezing Tubes can be used for storage at any temperature, although ultralow and cryogenic temperatures are most effective for long-term viability of bacteria.
