Contact SupplierBall Valve Description
A Ball Valve is a quarter-turn valve that uses a hollow, perforated, and pivoting ball to control the flow of liquids or gases. When the valve handle is turned 90 degrees, the ball rotates—allowing full flow when open and completely blocking the passage when closed.
Ball valves are widely used in industrial applications due to their durability, tight sealing, and low operating torque. They provide excellent shut-off capabilities even after long periods of disuse and are suitable for both on/off and control applications.
