Ballpoint Pen, Material : Plastic

For the "Blue Line" collection Berendsohn we designed a duo pen and mechanical pencil, which celebrates the handwriting as a means of personal expression. The shaft is made of cool, along milled aluminum, the handle in contrast of warm, WWF Germany-certified maple. Both are authentic, natural materials that give the design a special value. The design is inspired by the traditional Japanese brushes, as they are used in calligraphy.
