Our lab is NCS TCP(National certification system for Tissue culture Raised Plants) certified, and also with Department of Biotechnology. We also have ISO certification. So our growing procedure of plants in lab is through protocol of these above systems. Actually, we took ex-plants (tissues) of 150- 200 yr old plants from forests.
Those we studied here in our R&D lab for DNA/RNA gene mapping for their best quality/characteristics (wood quality, water content, girth, height of plant, flowering time etc.) After these analysis on gene level, we choose tissue and then multiple it for several time to give 3-5 lakh plants from one tissue. Eventually these all 5 lakh plants of same character ( of same DNA/Gene). So when they grow in field then also they grow equally. So we can cut them on same time.
Our Plants :
Grows 15-17 ft in first year with girt 6-7 inch.
Up to 3rd year they won’t have any big side branches. (girth will be 16-17 inch)
On forth year; after canopy (branches) girth will be 23-24 inches.
So you can cut it on 7-8 th year, when its girth will be 3 - 3.5 ft
Wood will be 12-15 cu.ft per plant.
Current Rate of per cubic ft is 2500-4500/- of good quality wood.
Quality of Our Plants :
So, as our plants are of Burma Teak, after maturity in field they give :
Dry Teak wood
Reddish brown colour wood of top quality
Our wood won't need polish
It has natural shine & typical natural smell.
it’s always with 1st demand in market
Our plants don't give any knots, it's very uniform and straight when grows.
