Band Heaters, Application : Industrial Use

Mica band heater is a mica insulated heater made out of nickel chrome resistance ribbon precisely wound on specially selected mica or micanite sheet. It is then insulated in metal sheeting and rolled to the required diameter. Mica insulated band heaters are specially used to heat the cylinders on all types of plastic machinery. Band heaters can be made in varying diameters and width. The connection can be of screw terminals, wire leads or pin types. These can be made in two halves and customized thermocouple hole. Standard sheath material is s.s.304 zinc platted m.s.
Uses: - plastic injection & blow moulding machines, extrusion barrels, cylinders, pipe drums etc.
