use:
it is usually used as catalyst in condensation polymerization to produce synthetic phenolic resin.
because with its catalysis,the polymerization is easy to control,the resin viscosity is low and solidified rate is high .the catalyst is easy to remove. It is also used in water-soluble carbamide chemically-modifying reaction to produce phenol-formaldehyde adhesive .the rudimental bivalent barium salts dose not affect dielectric properties and chemical durability.
